Cerin sits on a balcony towards the top of the cascade. It looks east towards the lake that this morning saw the brief duel between Marku and Birds. On his lap is a book of notes and sketches.

  • Birds-of-Trinity reads over his shoulder intently.
  • Cerin speaks when he becomes aware of her presence "Ah, hello Birds" he smiles "Interesting reading?"

<{{BirdsOfTrinity}}> "Oh yes. I'm really excited about your findings."

  • Cerin nods "They have very interesting implications...I take it you wished to talk with me further about them?"

<{{BirdsOfTrinity}}> "I'm wondering what further experiments you intend to perform."

<{{Cerin|TheWolf}}> "There are several that I wish to perform, though when I will be able too I am not sure, since to a certain extent it depends on when we next encounter them, however I would very much like to visit Rovath Hart-Runner, or at least observe him, to try and gauge the relationship between his power and that of his Exalts."

<{{BirdsOfTrinity}}> "I'd enjoy accompanying you, if that's possible." She offers Cerin a mango tart.

<{{Cerin|TheWolf}}> "Thank you" he takes a small bite "mmm, very good" after a moments consideration "I can't see any problem with you accompanying me, though I'm not sure when I will get the chance to go yet so..." another bite of the tart

  • Birds-of-Trinity nods, munching on a pastry of her own. "We have much to do with our time in the interim."

<{{BirdsOfTrinity}}> "Have you had the opportunity to examine Bertrand's Charms in detail?"

  • kAFKaesque is now known as Zahara
  • Cerin nods "I have. hmmm..." he starts to flip through the notes

<{{Cerin|TheWolf}}> he produces a fairly thick series of paper. they seem to feature a lot of sheets of bertrand, with various coloured lines about him, depicting lines of flow and intensities, as well as effects. other sheets in the pile note things like essence regain rates and the total essence he is able to command

  • Birds-of-Trinity examines the notes curiously.
  • Cerin waits til she has finsihed. "And here is a look at Relovia's essence, though not nearly so complete."

<{{BirdsOfTrinity}}> "Hm...it's interesting how..."

<{{Cerin|TheWolf}}> "hmmm?"

<{{BirdsOfTrinity}}> "...it looks like Relovia's Essence is...how do you say...gardened. Its patterns look more deliberate, no?"

  • Cerin nods "I believe that is a side effect of her training in the immaculate arts, or possibly her age. None of Rannath's blooded show it, though I hae not studied them closely"
  • Birds-of-Trinity hrms.
  • Cerin tilts his head at Birds "Do you have any other theories?"
  • Birds-of-Trinity shakes her head. "I'm not actually very well-versed in this stuff."

<{{BirdsOfTrinity}}> "It just...sstruck me as immensely interesting."

<{{BirdsOfTrinity}}> "I wonder whether the Exaltation operation and the olchilike process have any common elements...?"

<{{Cerin|TheWolf}}> "Yes and no. Both involve a fusion of divine energy with that of a mortal or mostly mortal being, however with the olchilike it is the direct fusion of one god and one mortal, and the divine essence acts directly, with the Exaltation process it more acts as a collection device for more essence, and as a filter for the essence gathered"

<{{BirdsOfTrinity}}> "That gibes me some ideas...I have to go cook, I think."

  • Cerin smiles "Good bye then, I'm glad my work interests you"
